THE HISTORY OF BERNDES
Quality makes the difference. Since 1921.
The name BERNDES stands for non-stick cookware in top quality. After countless experiments with coatings for cookware in the 1950s, BERNDES in 1976 revolutionised the cookware market with a frying pan made of cast aluminium with a new non-stick coating, the BONANZA® frying pan. Today, BERNDES is at the forefront of developments with a huge range of well-designed cookware for cooks who value taste and style. Still headquartered in Arnsberg, Germany, BERNDES continues to rely on quality "Made in Germany".
In 2012, BERNDES became part of the Alluflon Spa group, an internationally known Italian cookware producer which has grown into a successful global player since its foundation in 1970. Included under the umbrella of Alluflon are not only the tradition-rich BERNDES brand, but also MONETA, one of Italy's oldest cookware brands.
