BERNDES has a sense of responsibility for mankind and the environment; therefore environmental protection plays an important role in the BERNDES corporate policy. We go beyond the required specifications of existing environmental protection laws.
We monitor ourselves. Moreover, on an annual basis, we develop environmental management programs with specific measures for continuous improvement. BERNDES has voluntarily instituted a corporate environmental management system.
The BERNDES Environmental Declaration was one of the first in the household goods sectors to be declared valid by the environmental certifying company of  Gerling Cert Umweltgutachter GmbH, Cologne in September 2000. |
